XPE-PRO ISO-84 7mm – 7.2 m² insulation

The Ruby Home XPE-PRO ISO-84 is a high-performance insulation material with a reflective top layer, specially developed for use under electric underfloor heating foil. The 7mm thick panels are constructed from closed XPE cells with a high density and excellent thermal performance.

Thanks to the closed-cell structure, heat loss to the subfloor is virtually eliminated, allowing heat to be efficiently transferred to the floor surface. This results in faster heating of the floors and lower energy consumption.
Each package contains 7.2 m² of insulation.

For vapour-tightening the XPE-PRO, the use of Ruby Home Heat Resistant Tape is recommended, as it adheres optimally to the blue side of the insulation.

Compressive strength

Click laminate is subject to strict requirements regarding subfloor deformation. The European Producers of Laminate Flooring (EPLF) recommends a minimum of 10 kPa for 0.5 mm deformation .

• The Ruby Home ISO-84 underlay reaches 55 kPa at 0.7 mm deformation ,
  and thus more than meets the minimum compressive strength requirements.

• Suitable for heavy domestic use, including large furniture (such as sofas).

Note: Different requirements may apply to PVC or vinyl floors. Always check with your flooring supplier.
